Get ready for three full days of amazing wrecks, sea lions, hidden caves, deep training, and much more.  Dive with us into Mexico's pristine Sea of Cortez, one of the most biologically diverse bodies of water on Earth and home to an astounding number of sea creatures.  Almost a thousand resident and migratory fish species swim in these waters.  In fact, one in 10 of these fish live here and nowhere else on the planet!

And it’s not just fish. The Sea of Cortez also houses thousands of invertebrates, as well as many as 36 species of marine mammals.

WHERE: La Paz, Mexico

Most of the dive sites are around the island of Espiritu Santo, a protected area that is part of the Archipelago of Espiritu Santo National Park.

WHEN:  14th-16th October

                20th-22nd October - SOLD OUT

                28th-30th October

Itinerary

Day 1: We’ll be up bright and early to head out from the marina for a fun-filled day of:

  •  line warm-up/ training session

  • free diving exploration of two wrecks using a line attached to each wreck for safer and easier diving

  • instruction and practice of proper technique for safely exploring the wrecks from the inside (optional)

Day 2: Day 2 sees yet another early morning start from the marina as we need to account for a longer sailing time to reach the largest sea lion colony in the Sea of Cortez, Los Islotes, part of the Espiritu Santo National Park. Here we will:

  • learn about sea lion life, behavior, and biology

  • have a safety briefing on how to interact and free dive with sea lion pups.

  • enjoy plenty of time playing with these adorable animals and exploring the area, including a break with snacks on the boat weather permitting, late lunch on a secluded beach located on the island

Day 3: We’ll head out from the marina in the morning and head to a spot near Ballena island, where we will drop the line. Here we will:

  • have a deep freediving session
