Mobulas Freediving Expedition with World champion Carlos Coste and Ocean Conservationist Petra Oberucova
Mobula Expeditions 2022
Baja California Sur, Mexico
Every year thousands of mobula rays visit the coastlines of the Sea of Cortez in Mexico’s Baja California. We are lucky enough to experience this unforgettable event. It is one of the largest aggregations of rays on the planet. A breathtaking experience watching these acrobatic pancakes flying from the water doing backflips and splashing back down. Jump in the water with us to experience what it is like to freedive with thousands of rays. After my extensive experience working with large pelagic as well as my in-depth free diving training, I will guide you through this adventure and teach you about their contribution to the larger ocean eco-system while also enjoying their beauty.
In addition to searching for mobulas and other marine wildlife, we will also have dedicated time for freediving training and yoga practice. Freediving training will be guided by Carlos Coste, 12 times world record holder in freediving disciplines and the first human to pass 100 meters depth.
